Athletic Trainer
My name is Keeley York, and I’m a certified athletic trainer passionate about rehabilitation and return to sport. I love working with various individuals—from recreational to professional athletes. My specialties include running, field and ball sports, lifting, and swimming, but after five years in PT clinics, I’ve worked with all kinds of people and firmly believe that everyone is an athlete in their own way.
I’m super excited about my new role at Mbody and collaborating with all the specialties! My responsibilities will include co-treating with PTs to help with patient care. I’ll also be providing personal training or athletic training, and contributing to programs like the Reset Program. In the future, I hope to host additional exercise classes as well. I see my role as bridging the gap between PT and return to sport or life for all kinds of people and athletes at Mbody.
A little about me: I moved to Portland in 2019, and joined a physical therapy practice. There I gained experience co-treating with PTs. I’ve also been working as an independent contractor as an athletic trainer, helping athletes across Portland. In my free time, I love to snowboard, hike, run, lift, and hang out with my husband, friends and my dog Lottie and cat Seymour.
